Hi! I want some info about the Memory Maker as I am confused. I understand the cost. I'm trying to figure out if all the pictures that are taken at the parks, rides, dining, etc. stay on there forever? If not, what is the main point of having it? Thanks!

    Hello Shawn!

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am using Memory Maker for the 4th time on my next Walt Disney World vacation in a couple of days. I'll tell you the reasons I like it, and then you can decide if it's right for you!

Memory Maker allows you to enjoy unlimited digital PhotoPass photos on your Walt Disney World vacation and also includes select attraction and dining photos. Each photo is linked to your Disney account and remains in your account for 45 days after they are taken. So they do not stay in your Disney account forever, but you can download all of them, and then they are all yours to keep. I love this, because I can share them with family and friends and also have my photos printed wherever I choose.

I am often the one in my family taking the photos, capturing the memories behind a lens. With Memory Maker, my whole family is part of the picture, and we can take as many pictures as we like at the hundreds of Disney PhotoPass locations. My daughters might actually remember what I look like now when I am older!

Another advantage is the dining and attraction photos that are included. In the past, we would spend a lot of money getting those pictures printed, so this is a savings for my family, and we don't have to pick and choose. We get all of them! It's fun reliving the memories and laughing at the goofy faces we made on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and tease the ones who were screaming on Splash Mountain.

I hope this helps. You can also check out the Memory Maker Frequently Asked Questions page for more information. If you do decide to purchase Memory Maker, make sure you do it at least 3 days prior to your first photo being taken and you save $50 for purchasing in advance. Good luck with your decision!

    Have a Disney day!
