Some info on the internet indicates that e-bikes are no longer permitted at fort wilderness. I hope that is not the case, my wife and I in our 60's find that my e bike and her e trike help us a great deal at the campground.

Hi Jim. Thank you for reaching out to planDisney!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is one of the most unique resorts across the Walt Disney World Resort. It has a charm and character that is completely its own. I especially love catching the classic dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and checking out Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long when I'm there.

I checked with a friendly Cast Member who explained that electric bikes are not permitted on bike trails, roadways, or sidewalks at the resort. However, golf carts and electronic personal assistance mobility devices are permitted on sidewalks, paths, and roadways. You can find more information by viewing the Vehicles, Carts, and Recreational Devices Rules and Regulations.

I hope that you and your wife have a wonderful time exploring the wilderness on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    The wilderness must be explored,
    Matt
