So glad you voyaged over to planDisney! Hmm, let’s see: combining the
Disney Wonder, a Baja cruise and a
Halloween on the High Seas itinerary sounds like a WONDERful idea! Nothing like wanting to know exactly what to expect on your glorious vacation! I’m curious as can be too, so I was delighted to dig for some answers for you.
We don’t know very much right now about what will be offered as activities and entertainment on the Disney Wonder when it resumes sailing in September. While we could surmise based on what is happening with other ships in the fleet, Disney Cruise Line has specifically said to stay tuned as the protocols will be customized for each ship. I’m certain that the announcements will be shared very soon on the
Disney Cruise Line website and the
Disney Parks Blog.
I can tell you that the first ship to set sail from the U.S. will be the Disney Dream, and it will showcase a brand new fireworks at sea display on two different nights. Additionally, I haven’t seen any mention of
Pirate Night slated to happen. What I am thinking is that even if events may not be on the Disney Wonder during your voyage, Captain Mickey is developing many new experiences and adapting the current ones to encourage social distancing and ensure the health and safety of the Guests and crew. So I give him a high five (or maybe I should say a “high four”) for that approach!
As much as I love the
tried and true entertainment onboard, I love when something new and different is thrown into the mix. Maybe that’s why all the Disney cruise fans are losing our minds at all the new spaces announced for the
Disney Wish! I hope that the Disney Wonder lives up to its name and wows you with the same level of service and quality you expect from Disney, and also surprises you in unique ways!
