Are inflatable air mattresses allowed in resort rooms? Our almost 3 year old is too big for a pack n play. Thanks!

    Hi Susanne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We visited Walt Disney World Resort with our little guy when he was too big for a Pack N Play but not big enough for a “big boy bed”. We wound up travelling with an inflatable toddler bed, and it worked out quite well for him. You’d be allowed to use it in your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room, provided the use of this bed doesn’t bring the room’s occupancy level above its maximum (usually 4 or 5 Guests, depending on the type of room).

If you don’t choose to go with the inflatable bed, don’t forget that you can also request bed rails, a larger crib (both are complimentary) or even a rollaway bed (with an extra cost per night) at every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, availability permitting. One of my friends used one of those larger cribs for her little one during one of her visits and I was pleasantly surprised by how big it was.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any extra questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
