Hi, Hannah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting with your question about exploring the
Disneyland Resort with an infant. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how many attractions and other experiences you can enjoy with your little one in tow!
Children under the age of 3 do not need an admission ticket to visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. And if there is no minimum height requirement at an attraction or if it's for "any height," then it’s safe for your baby to ride! Some favorite attractions families can experience together in Disneyland Park are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Alice in Wonderland, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and even more. Almost every attraction in Fantasyland is baby-friendly!
If you’ll have another adult with you during your visit, you may want to take advantage of the Rider Switch program, which allows Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns experiencing attractions. One adult can ride while the other adult waits with a young child. They then "swap" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in line all over again. The
Baby Care Centers are another great resource when exploring the theme parks with the youngest Guests. They provide full-size changing tables, high chairs, private nursing spaces and baby food prepping areas for your convenience.
I hope this helps you plan, Hannah, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
