Hello Jessica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.
I am so excited to hear that you will be bringing your youngling to the Walt Disney World Resort for his first visit soon. You will have so many memories of his first visit to share with him as he grows up.
Since your padawan is under the age of 2, he is considered to be Mickey’s special guest and does not require a ticket as long as he enters the park with an adult who has valid theme park admission. In order to make
FastPass+ selections, a guest must have a valid theme park ticket connected to their My Disney Experience account. Since your little prince does not need a ticket, he also does not need a FastPass+ reservation to experience a ride with an adult who already has one. As long as he meets the height restrictions, he can experience any FastPass+ experience that you do. You can use
Rider Switch for any experience that he is too small to experience. Ask a Cast Member about using this service when you enter the FastPass+ return line and they will set it up for you.
One more thing to note, when you are making your
advanced dining reservations, you will need to include your youngling in your count as an infant. Even though there is no charge for his meals, adding him to your reservation will help Cast Members when they are seating your party when you dine. Your prince will be able to share a plate with you at table service restaurants and will eat free at buffet and family style restaurants. If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
