Hiya Susan,
Welcome to planDisney! Congratulations on your new little Mouseketeer; as the mom to an infant, I know firsthand about visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with a little one. I’m convinced there is nothing more magical than experiencing Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your little ones.
As my Prince Charming says, there are a lot of special considerations you have to make when visiting Walt Disney World Resort with an infant, but luckily a Theme Park ticket isn’t one of them. Guests under three years old do not need a Theme Park ticket or a Disney Park Pass Reservation to enter any of the Theme Parks! The only thing you will need to make sure to add your little one to is dining reservations. Even though your baby will just be nibbling off your plate, it is crucial for Fire Codes that each dining location has an accurate count of Guests in the restaurant at all times.
Before I let you go, Susan, I do want to share one of my best tips for visiting Walt Disney World Resort with an infant. There are a lot of rides that little ones can ride (especially at Magic Kingdom Park); I highly recommend getting
Disney Genie+ service for this reason. Summer lines are never fun, but they can seem even more difficult with a baby. With Disney Genie+, you can lessen your wait in line and avoid line meltdowns. If your Mouseketeer needs a break from the sun, take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers and indoor attractions (such as
Sea Base at EPCOT). They are great for a break from the sun and can be a quiet place to decompress.
I hope this was helpful! If you need anything else, please come back and see us. We would be happy to help you have the most magical vacation possible.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
