Janet from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How to get an inexpensive one day ticket to Epcot. Also, is there a back entrance to Epcot for anyone?

Hi there, Janet, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're ready to become an official EPCOTarian, and I couldn't be more excited for you! With so much to do (and so much good food!), EPCOT makes an incredible home away from home. Honestly, I'd move in permanently if I could - but fortunately, it only takes one day to become a true Citizen of EPCOT! I see you'd like to cement your status with an affordable, one-day visit, so let's go ahead and take a look at your options. I promise we'll get you there, One Way or Another!

Janet, the first thing I do to score a deal in Walt Disney World is check out the Special Offers page. While discounts for single-day tickets are admittedly pretty rare, it's always smart to keep an eye on this page. You never know when a great offer might drop!

Aside from special offers and discounts, the best way to save on Theme Park Tickets is to visit during a "low demand" time. Generally, you'll find lower prices on single-day tickets during the summer months, especially late August through September! Be sure to choose a standard ticket (one park per day) rather than the Park Hopper® Option (multiple parks per day) to keep things budget-friendly.

Now, Disney World may feel like a (disco) inferno during the summer months, but there are plenty of ways to stay cool! And the best news? Lower prices aren't the only benefit of a summertime visit to Disney World. In fact, I Ran to book my upcoming trip as soon as I learned about Cool KIDS' SUMMER! This family-friendly event brings exciting new experiences to the park, including GoofyCore at EPCOT!

Janet, Everybody Wants to Rule the World...Showcase! In my experience, the best way to "conquer the world" is to enter the park through the rear entrance, otherwise known as the International Gateway. While this entrance is available to all guests, it's not the easiest to access unless you can take the Disney Skyliner or walk from your resort. If you're planning to drive yourself, you'll need to pay for parking at Disney's Hollywood Studios and travel to EPCOT from there, as I recently explained to another guest

I hope this information is helpful, Janet, and that your upcoming visit is out-of-this-world! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Time to conga,

    Allison
