Is there an indoor pool or hot tub at Art of Animation Resort?

Shello, Kathy, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!

Growing up, The Little Mermaid was on constant repeat in my house. And since Disney's Art of Animation Resort is home to my favorite mermaid princess, the resort holds a very special place in my heart! When I'm at Walt Disney World, I always look forward to donning my mermaid tail for a refreshingly magical swim. So let's dive right in and answer your question about Disney World's fabulous pools!

Unfortunately, Disney's Art of Animation Resort does not offer an indoor pool or hot tub. In fact, there are no indoor pools or hot tubs at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel! I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but the good news is that there are still lots of ways to go "under the sea" at Art of Animation, even without an indoor pool.

Kathy, Art of Animation is home to three separate pools. The first is the zero-entry, Finding Nemo-inspired Big Blue Pool. This is where you'll find The Drop Off Pool Bar and the Schoolyard Sprayground, which is always a hit with the kiddos! There are also two quiet pools, the Cozy Cone Pool and the Flippin' Fins Pool. The best part is that all three pools are heated, so you can make waves even in cooler weather!

Now, I should also note that Art of Animation does not have a hot tub, even outdoors (this is true of all Disney World Value Resorts). If a hot tub is a priority, you may want to consider one of Disney's Deluxe Resorts, like Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort. While deluxe resorts come with a higher price tag, they also offer exciting amenities and perks, like on-site character dining restaurants, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, hotel room balconies, and finally, HOT TUBS!

I hope this information is helpful, Kathy, and that you find the perfect home away from home for your next Disney World vacation. If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Have a fin-tastic day,

    Allison
