Are there any indoor counter service restaurants, or are indoor mostly table service? Also, where do we meet the talking Mickey character (not dining related question-sorry)?

    Hi Liz ~

There are some fabulous counter service restaurants throughout Disney World! You will find that many of the larger quick service locations in each of the theme parks do indeed offer indoor seating. For example, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Pinocchio Village Haus, and Tortuga Tavern in the Magic Kingdom all offer indoor seating.

There are lots of quick service locations at Epcot with indoor seating including the Electric Umbrella, Liberty Inn, and Sunshine Seasons.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios the ABC Commissary, Pizza Planet Arcade, and Backlot Express offer indoor seating.

It is a little harder to find quick service locations at Animal Kingdom with a lot of indoor seating. I would recommend Pizzafari or Restaurantosaurus. Flame Tree Barbecue is our absolute favorite. There is lots of covered outdoor seating but no indoor seating.

Many of the quick service locations do offer outdoor covered seating in each of the parks. Some locations offer limited indoor seating as well.

We LOVE talking Mickey! The only place you can meet and talk with Mickey is at the Magic Kingdom. Look for him in Town Square Theater which is located on the right side of Town Square just after you enter the Magic Kingdom and go under the Walt Disney World Railroad Main Street, U.S.A. Station. Disney FastPass+ service is offered at this location.

Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
