    Is Individual Lightning Lane the only way to ride Rise of the Resistance? What are the options to ride?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing a question our way! 

    In the past Guests were required to secure a Boarding Group in order to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. However, the attraction is currently utilizing a traditional stand-by queue. A virtual queue will be implemented as needed. But, Guests will only have the opportunity to join after they have entered the theme park. So, when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort, please check the Disneyland Mobile App to see if a virtual queue is being utilized on the day of your visit. If not, simply hop in line when you are ready to join an epic battle against the First Order! 

    If you prefer, you may choose to purchase Individual Lightning Lane from the Disneyland Mobile App using Disney Genie Service. The price for Individual Lightning Lane varies, so please check for the price on the day of your visit.
