Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachael! I remember taking a field trip to Walt Disney World Resort when I was a senior in high school. It was a physics class based trip, where we learned all about the animatronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and motion of the attractions and architecture of the Resort. It was amazing, and an education I have never left behind. The
Disney Youth Education Series is an extension of those long-ago classes that still touch on the same topics.
Sadly, all the education classes are for groups only at this time. There is no individual sign ups available for your trip, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn during your trip! I urge you to consider a family visit to Epcot for an inexpensive tour of
Behind the Seeds, where you can learn all about the horticulture of the resort, and how farm to table is within reach right on vacation! You can also explore
Caring for Giants, where you and your family can see great elephants in
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are lots of special things even the youngest among us can experience and learn while having fun. If you want to just be around nature without the tour aspect, I would recommend booking a pony ride at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness. It's a ton of fun to be around those graceful animals.
I hope you have a magical and educational vacation. Please let me know if I can suggest any other
tours or experiences! ~ Lindsey P.
