Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle! I have two little ones, myself, so I’m always taking advantage for Rider Switch so my big kid can ride with Dad and my little baby girl stays entertained otherwise. I’ll gladly help detail which attractions use this handy parent feature.
The
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is actually a show, where families will sit in bleacher-style seating to watch the fabulous stunt team re-enact the courageous scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark. You don’t need a Rider Switch for these types of shows, or any attraction that has no ride height minimum, such as Toy Story Mania. However, if there is a small child that is not tall enough (or brave enough) to conquer the Tower of Terror, this is
when Rider Switch comes in handy. You’ll find an
official list of which attractions offer Rider Switch here, but you can always speak to the Cast Member at the ride entrance about using Rider Switch.
I hope you have fun on your magical vacation, and if you have a preschooler, take a peek at the
Parent Guide which will detail over 80 attractions for these little kids, who enjoy every bit of
seasonal magic Disney offers. You may also find the
Baby Care Centers of use, even for grade schoolers, since they offer a quiet and calm respite for families. Please let me know if you have other questions. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
