I independently purchased resort stay and shortly thereafter theme park tickets. Can I purchase the quclk service dining plan independently as well? I had a Disney representative say yes I can & told wss no it has to be purchased as a package.

Hi there, Rosemary! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question today! You're going to have a fantastic summer visit exploring all of the new summer celebrations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few months! I'm sure you're excited to see and experience all of this magic! Let's dig a little deeper into your question about adding a Disney dining plan to your stay so you can experience some delicious meals and snacks as you soak in all the excitement!

Disney dining plans are available to Guests who choose to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, and are offered only as part of a vacation package. I reached out to a Cast Member for more information, and she did state that there are certain, ticketless vacation packages that include a Disney Resort hotel stay and a Disney dining plan that Guests may be eligible to book. Without knowing the specific details of your reservation and tickets already purchased, my best advice would be to reach out by phone to a Cast Member to see if you can convert your existing room-only resort reservation to a package to include the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. The Cast Member I spoke with recommended you call 407-560-CHAT for assistance.

Rosemary, since you're interested in quick-service dining, I'd love to share a few of my favorites with you! My family really enjoys Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT - the ribs are delicious and there's usually plenty for us to share, which helps stretch those dining meals over our trip! Another of my favorites is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn in Magic Kingdom Park; I just had the nachos (my favorite!) there this week! And in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, check out Satu'li Canteen - you can build your own bowl here with an assortment of proteins and toppings and the cheeseburger steam pods are also so good!

I hope this helps, Rosemary, and I hope you are able to finalize your plans for staying, playing, and dining at the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer! If you have any other questions, come on back and let us know! At planDisney, we're all ears!

    Magic Awaits,
