Hey there, Daniel, and welcome to planDisney!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite spots around property to grab a bite to eat. What I would give to enjoy
Tonga Toast and Liliko’i (also known as POG Juice) right now… I usually like to have a restaurant reservation to guarantee a parking space at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels when I’m not staying there; however, I am happy to share what I know about how to get that delicious Polynesian breakfast.
You have a few options, Daniel. The first is to park at Magic Kingdom Park (parking is included with your Walt Disney World Resort annual pass) and hop on the Disney Resort Monorail from the
Transportation and Ticket Center toward Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This is a tried-and-true way to access this tropical-themed Resort hotel.
If you’d rather drive your vehicle straight to the Resort hotel, I recommend having an advance dining reservation to one of the restaurants (Kona Cafe or
‘Ohana) or a Mobile Order via the My Disney Experience App (Capt. Cook’s or Kona Cafe To Go). However, you can totally take a chance (I do this all the time) and tell the security guard at the parking entrance that you plan to dine at one of the quick-service locations, which don’t require a dining reservation, or will be shopping at the gift shop. At the moment, there is no charge for this allowance, and you’re usually given a time limit for your stay.
When you arrive, have your identification card ready to go. If you decide to make a dining reservation or Mobile Order, provide them with that information as well. Keep in mind that the length of stay is completely at the discretion of the onsite security guard. You could also be denied entry due to capacity. As my buddy Scar says, “Be Prepared!”
Daniel, I hope that you have the BEST time at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! By the way, while the Tonga Toast is ah-mazing, the Macadamia Nut Pancakes are a close second. If you have any other questions about your upcoming Disney vacation,

Magic always,
