Hi Emanuel! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with this important question.
I can understand your desire to find out whether or not the
Incredicoaster in California Adventure will be open during your upcoming visit, Emanuel, and what a big deal it must be to your son. My youngest son wanted us to measure him constantly in the weeks leading up to our visit a couple years ago because he had been dreaming about going on the Incredicoaster virtually his whole life. It can be pretty tough when plans don't go the way we were hoping.
Dates are released for attraction closures six weeks out and are available on the
Daily Events Schedule, so it's a little too early, at this time, to know for your particular date. I encourage you to check back to the Daily Events Schedule on the Disneyland website as your date gets closer and scroll down to "Closed for Refurbishment" to see any attractions that may be closed during your visit, including the Incredicoaster. It's important to know, however, that closures can change at any time and can even happen unexpectedly, day-of. I'll be wishing on a star, though, that your son will be chasing Jack-Jack through the sky soon!
In the meantime, did you know that
Disney+ recently released a Point of View dash through the Incredicoaster? My son and I had a blast "on" this superspeed ride - and we didn't even have to leave the couch. It's incredible and made us feel like we were immersed in the magic!
Lastly, before my youngest hit that 48" milestone for Incredicoaster, he found so much enjoyment on a similar attraction nearby -
Goofy's Sky School! He made us go on it over and over and OVER. So, in case Incredicoaster is unavailable during your visit, Emanuel, keep Goofy's Sky School in mind to scratch that coaster-itch!
I hope this information has been helpful, Emanuel, even though it may not be the news you were hoping for! If any other questions come up in your planning, please don't hesitate to
reach out again. You may want to learn more about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) and see if it might be a helpful resource for you and your family. We'd be happy to chat about it!
Above all, I wish you and your son the most magical visit, Emanuel!
McCayla
