Thank you for sending your question to us here at planDisney. I am so happy to see you are looking at booking a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation, let me assure you, planning is half the fun!
Booking a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package is easy, and best of all can be done from the comfort of your own home! I like that we are able to customize our visit by selecting the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel of our choice, as well as making sure our Theme Park Tickets are exactly what we need. On the official Walt Disney World Resort Website, the
Places to Stay tab at the top of the page is the best place to start. There are options for every budget and once you have made your selection, you will be asked to input your travel dates. From there, the available Resort Hotels will be displayed and once you click on that hotel you will need to choose the option for a Vacation Package, instead of the Room Only option. As you continue to follow the prompts there will be options for Theme Park Tickets. At this point you will be able to customize your Theme Park Tickets including the number of days, adding the Park Hopper Option or the Water Park and Sports Option. Once you have made all your selections, you will arrive at the checkout where a deposit will be required to secure your reservation.
After you have your vacation package booked, I would highly recommend using
Disney's Park Pass System to reserve your entry into the Theme Parks for every day of your visit. Guests are now required to have a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for the same day to enter any of the four Theme Parks. This process shouldn't take long, simply go your
My Disney Experience Account and under "My Plans" choose Park Reservations. From there you will be able to add your party and make your Park Reservations for each day that you have a valid Theme Park Ticket.
When you book at Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you will also receive plenty of
Magical Extras that will make your stay even more special. My family and I love the vouchers for Miniature Golf and all of the discounts that come with our vacation package. We always make sure to schedule some down time from the Theme Parks to enjoy the amenities at our Resort Hotel, as well as to take advantage of the Magical Extras that come with our vacation package.
