Disney Castaway Cay is an island paradise, whether you are going to explore the crystal blue waters, bike around the island, or just lounge on a beach chair and enjoy the sand and sunshine! However you choose to spend your day will be magical. Make sure to take a break from the island activities to enjoy Cookies BBQ for a lunch buffet that has everything from burgers to chicken to the very best chocolate chip cookies. (Don't forget to get some soft serve ice cream to go with that cookie!)
Snorkeling is very popular with guests while visiting Castaway Cay.
Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rentals (C01) will provide you with a mask, snorkel, snorkel vest, and flippers. (**Please note that the snorkel vest is mandatory.) If you book the equipment rental, you may pick up your gear at Gil's Fins and Boats or at Flippers and Floats. Rentals are valid for the entire time you are on the island. You can easily book this
Port Adventure ahead of time so you can quickly pick-up your equipment and head out to the water.
There is so much to see and do at Castaway Cay, so I suggest debarking the ship as soon as you are cleared to do so, usually around 8:30am. Pack a beach bag with sunglasses and hats and any other beach needs. You will find several shops around the island if you need to pick-up sunscreen or sand toys or even a fun Castaway Cay souvenir. Have your Key to the World Card handy so you can charge to your stateroom folio. Do not worry about bringing towels off the ship, as they will be handed out as you are welcomed onto the island.
