Hi, there!
Irene, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort in 2019. You're sure to have a magical stay!
One of my favorite things to do on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is snack around the theme parks. There are so many delectable treats to enjoy! Guests who purchase the
Disney Dining Plan receive
two snack entitlements per night of their package stay, which means there's plenty of snacking to be had. Snacks can be purchased at Quick-Service restaurants, most outdoor carts, and even merchandise locations. Snacks can include items like a popsicle, cupcake, box of popcorn, beverage, or piece of fruit. There's not necessarily a price range for snacks, but eligible items are usually around $5.00. Items that are eligible for snack entitlements are marked with the purple and white Disney Dining Plan symbol on menus or shelf signs.
There are lots of delicious ways to use snack entitlements. Try some Disney-classics like a Dole Whip, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, or Mickey soft-pretzel (my fave!). You'll find many side dishes that are snack eligible items at Quick-Service dining locations. My husband loves ordering the French Onion Soup with a snack entitlement at Be Our Guest Restaurant - YUM. This mama runs on caffeine and pixie-dust, so fueling my magical mornings with coffee is a must. My absolute favorite way to use my snack entitlements is at the Starbucks locations in the theme parks. Almost all the beverages there, even the Venti-size, qualify as a snack!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Irene. Happy snacking!
