Hi there, Sheila!
From one resident of the Peach State to another, welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by with a question about one of my favorite topics:
Disney dining. Let's dig in!
Dining plans are a great way to make your vacation even more magical by giving it an all-inclusive feel while enjoying the incredible dining options Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Both the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan include at least one Quick-Service Meal per Guest per night of stay. These Quick-Service Meals will each include one entrée and one nonalcoholic or alcoholic beverage (for Guests 21 and older). It's important to keep in mind that some locations include a side such as fries with their entrées, while others do not, so I suggest looking over menus in the My Disney Experience app to see what is included before deciding where you'll dine.
If you won't be using a dining plan during your vacation, you'll find that quick-service meals typically do not include beverages, so if you'd like to enjoy a drink with your meal, you'll need to order that separately.
While we're on the subject of quick-service dining, I want to share that I highly recommend utilizing the
mobile food & beverage ordering feature in the My Disney Experience app when available. This handy tool will allow you to place your order in advance with a designated pick-up time, which means less waiting and more magic!
I hope this clears things up for you, Sheila, and that your vacation is filled with countless magical memories as you gather around the table. If you need any further assistance or recommendations for your upcoming visit, feel free to come see us again at

Thinking Happy Thoughts,
