Hello, Caitlin!
Welcome back to planDisney! I hope you are having a fabulous time planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It sounds like you are well on your way to planning the practically perfect visit! I am thrilled to help you out with one of my favorite topics: Disney dining.
Hooray for the return of the
dining plans! I am so excited they are back. The ease and convenience of not having to budget for meals while in the magic is a perk I truly enjoy. I also like that when we are using a dining plan, I tend to visit places or pick meals that I might not otherwise choose. It sounds like you've chosen the
Disney Dining Plan for your next vacation. This dining plan offers Guests 3 and older:
- 1 Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
There are
over 200 participating locations, so there really is something for everyone on the Disney Dining Plan.
Jaleo by José Andrés is a participating location and requires 2 table service meals per Guest for both lunch and dinner. If you choose to dine there using your dining plan, make sure to tell the Cast Member at check-in as there is a special menu for Guests dining with the Disney Dining Plan. The special menu will list the available tapas, desserts and drinks to choose from for your dining experience. Each Guest will be able to choose 3 tapas from the available selections, 1 dessert and either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.
All this talk of tapas and
Jaleo by José Andrés has my mouth watering. Although the adventure begins when you arrive, it's reasons like this that make planning the magic part of the fun. I adore looking through the menus and locations to plan where we will be dining and even what I plan on ordering during our vacation. Happy planning, Caitlin, and if there is anything else I am able to answer or if you need any other dining recommendations, please let me know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
