What all is included in the Disney's Family Magic Tour and what do you get to do/see that guests on regular ticket do/see?

Hi, Katherine! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family and I participated in Disney's Family Magic Tour for my birthday in 2017, and we had the best time! While I don't want to spoil the Magic for you, I'm happy to share a few things you might experience on your Tour.

First of all, we were greeted by an AMAZING, fun, energetic Cast Member at Town Square Theater who gave us an overview of what to expect during our Tour. After she provided an opportunity to ask questions or voice concerns--like what to do with the baby stroller in our group (we were able to roll it everywhere, by the way)-- it was time for the fun to begin!

Most of our time on the tour was spent solving Disney-related riddles and hunting for clues (which would lead to another puzzle to solve). The five kids in our group (between the ages of 1 and 12) had a blast solving the riddles and hunting high and low for the clues--but the adults definitely got into it, too! Our adventures took us through Main Street, U.S.A., Liberty Square, Fantasyland and a little bit of Tomorrowland. We had special surprises on Main Street, U.S.A. and in Fantasyland that made the adventure extra magical, and (although experiences may vary for your party) we got to experience two attractions as a group using the FastPass queue.

Although this is primarily an outdoor, walking adventure, we did take a few short breaks and found shady spots whenever possible. Our Guide was phenomenal, and her energy and enthusiasm definitely added to the joy we experienced on this Tour. Almost two years later, my daughter still likes to peek in the "secret" hiding places we discovered around Magic Kingdom Park to see if she can find any more clues! Disney's Family Magic Tour is one I highly recommend, and I hope you and your family have a chance to experience it, Katherine!

    Best wishes,

Hiya, pals! I'm Amy from South Carolina. I'm married to my Disney-loving best friend, and together we've raised two princes and a princess. Whether I'm teaching my high school journalism students, planning Disney Bounding outfits with my daughter, or researching which new adventures we'll encounter on our next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I find a way to incorporate a little Disney magic into everything I do. I look forward to helping you discover the magic, too!  Learn More About Amy
