Hi Ruth and welcome to planDisney!
Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do! There are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from, but we certainly have our favorites, like
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
When making
Disney dining reservations, every Guest must be included in your total, including infants. This rule is to adhere to the maximum capacity per restaurant for fire safety. Even though your little one won't be enjoying the food, they will still need to be counted.
How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so quickly! I'm sure you're in the final planning stages and ironing out all of the details of your trip. I highly suggest you check out the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page of the Walt Disney World website. There are so many great tips and suggestions for attractions, shows, dining and choosing a
Disney Resort hotel. For
attractions, your little one can ride anything that says "Any Height". My kids were mostly interested in bright colors and fun sounds when they were that little, so
Mad Tea Party and
Dumbo the Flying Elephant were our go-to rides at
Magic Kingdom Park.
Check out the
Baby Care Centers while you are there that are located at all four theme parks. These centers are quiet spaces to take your little one for diaper changes, feeding or just a quiet place to rest. They also have a supply of baby needs if you forget anything or run out while you are there.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
