How many inches does your hips and weight have to be to ride on most rides?

Hi Linda! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The Disneyland Resort is dedicated to being a welcoming and inclusive destination for all Guests, and that includes Guests of all sizes. Most Attractions can accommodate Guests up to 600 pounds. They're designed with a wide variety of bodies in mind. I hope that's good news!

One of the only exceptions due to ride design is Silly Symphony Swings in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure Park. Body shape might be the only limiting factor, depending on your individual comfort level. For example, the Incredicoaster in nearby Pixar Place has an overhead restraint system that might be snug for some guests. If you have concerns about closing a restraint fully or comfortably fitting on an Attraction, please feel free to speak with a friendly Cast Member. They're always ready to help in any way they possibly can!

If comfort is a concern, you might consider riding solo. Adults can ride solo for many reasons. Recently, I rode solo on Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park because we were an odd number. It's actually my preference! Riding alone, I'm able to fly Dumbo up and down as I please and snap great photos of my group's other Dumbo ride vehicles. A Cast Member asked how we wanted to break up our party, and I elected to ride alone. They're accustomed to accommodating Guests' wishes and needs, so don't be shy!

While there's no weight limit on the majority of Attractions at the Disneyland Resort, for your safety, there are height requirements on some Attractions. Here's a helpful list of those Attractions that require Guests to have reached a certain height before they experience the Attraction.

    I hope this helps!
