Hi so I was under the impression that with an annual pass you could bring guests but now I learn you can’t. I just bought it yesterday and haven’t used it. Is there a way I can cancel? Or at least downgrade?

Hiya Nohely and welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with your question. Helping Guests plan their Disney vacations is what panelists like me do best.

Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets and Annual Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Once you purchase theme park tickets and annual passes you may use them for yourself or gift them to someone else as long as they are unused. You would not be able to downgrade your annual pass until it is time for renewal. Once your pass is up for renewal at the year mark, you do not have to continue with the same annual pass level. You can choose the level of pass you would like and may downgrade at that time.

planDisney Pro Tip: You have 12 months to activate an unused annual pass. This is really helpful for Guests who purchase annual passes and whose plans change before the first use of the pass. The year starts when you tap into a theme park for the first time.

Nohely, I hope this information is helpful to you. Please write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
