    Hi Rebecca!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney to see us again!  As a mom of three, I can honestly say nothing is quite as magical as experiencing Walt Disney World Resort with a little one by your side.  I'm sure you're looking forward to your trip next year!

Rebecca, there is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World - both inside and outside of the theme parks.  My youngest is also three years old and doesn't use his stroller much at home anymore, but when we visit this December, we're definitely planning to bring it.  When combining long days with lots of walking in the parks, I've found that it can be a lot for little legs.  While each child is different, my boys have generally used a stroller on Disney trips until they were about five or six years old.  If you are bringing a stroller from home, I recommend checking the Walt Disney World Property Rules to confirm that it follows the required size guidelines.

If you don't want to bring a stroller from home and find that you need one after arrival, it may help to know you can rent a stroller at all four theme parks and at Disney Springs.  You can only use these at the location where you rented them, and you must return them before leaving.  If you're planning to park hop, your stroller rental is valid all day - simply show your receipt from that same day at the next park to pick up another stroller.

planDisney Pro Tip - You can save money on your stroller rental by purchasing a length-of-stay rental at the start of your trip.  It still follows the same rules of picking up and returning your stroller at each theme park location, but you can pre-pay for several days at a discounted price!

I hope this information has been helpful, Rebecca, and that you enjoy a wonderful visit with your young Mouseketeer!  As you continue planning your vacation, you may want to take a peek at our planDisney Video Library, which includes many videos from panelists specifically about bringing your little one to Walt Disney World.  Of course, if you have more questions, please stop by again to see us here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers!
