What are the MOST IMPORTANT criteria to consider when selecting a resort? Our party consists of hubby and me, two boys, 5 & 7, and twin girls, 2. They nap and still sleep in cribs. We're staying 8n/9d. $10K total budget inc. air. I just can't decide?

    Hi Sarah!

Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Any Disney Resort Hotel would be perfect for your family, but since your 2 year old twins still nap, and if your budget permits, I would definitely recommend a "monorail Resort" in the Magic Kingdom area. In other words, LOCATION is the most important criteria, particularly if you plan to spend the majority of the vacation touring the Magic Kingdom theme park. This is the more likely scenario for a family traveling with small children. Monorail resorts include Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. Access to Monorail Transportation makes it very convenient to go back to your Disney Resort Hotel for a mid-day break from the hustle and bustle of the Disney Theme Parks. Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot are easily accessible via monorail. Find out my top ten tips for making your family's vacation even more magical by reading HERE. Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
