How important are ADR's in march? We leave in two weeks and my husband says we really don't need them. He doesn't want to be tied down to reservations, but I think we need them. What is your opinions?

    Hi Misty!

Advance Dinning Reservations (ADR's) are always important if you have a definite restaurant you want to dine in. If you are like me and do not mind waiting in line or have no preference on where you want to eat, then you really do not need them.

I must say though, when you DO have an ADR, it is VERY nice to know when you are going to eat and do not have to worry about finding a restaurant. It takes all of the stress out of finding a place to eat and also gives you a schedule to follow.

If you have not made ADR's just yet, you may find it a little tough to get a reservation since it is so close to your arrival. You may be better off not making them. I could see that your options would be very slim.  In my opinion, I would sit with your husband and figure out if there are ANY restaurants that you have to go to. If he says yes, then you should try to make a reservation. If he says that it will be fine and we should just try to walk into places, then just go with the flow.

If you know which parks you are going to and have a schedule to follow for each day, I would personally try to find a restaurant for each day and see if you can get a reservation. You can always cancel them 24 hours in advance without penalty. That way, you will not have to worry too much about finding somewhere to eat.

Good luck with your decision! Remember, it's about having fun! You can always get by with a turkey leg or Mickey ice cream bar. I hope you have a wonderful day!
