I’m Planning on going to the magic kingdom and Hollywood studios parks. Which hotel is the best option to easily get to both parks?

Hiya, Emily, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've found us here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you're hoping to find the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call "home" during your stay. Hakuna Matata - you've come to the right place for advice!

Emily, when it comes to staying in the magic, any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels are a fabulous choice. You'll get the perks of incredible theming, complimentary and convenient transportation, earlier booking for Lightning Lanes, and more!  If you're hoping to stay close to certain Disney Theme Parks, I have a few suggestions. While there are Resorts with proximity to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios, none of the Resorts are within walking distance of both at the same time. To be close to Magic Kingdom Park, consider Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. To be within walking distance of Hollywood Studios, consider Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Happily, many modes of transportation are offered to get from the Resorts to the Theme Parks, including buses, boats, the Monorail, and the Skyliner!

Can't decide which hotel is best? Why not try staying in more than one hotel? A "split-stay" is one of my family's favorite ways to experience different Resorts within one vacation. When you check out of your first resort, Bell Services will happily bring your bags to your next Resort for you while you enjoy your day!

Did you know that in 2025, Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels can visit a water park on their day of check-in, included with their stay? That's right! You're welcome to head to Blizzard Beach Water Park or Typhoon Lagoon Water Park on the day you check in to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and I can't recommend it more. My family had a blast at the water parks recently, and I can confidently say there's something for every member of the family there!

Emily, if you have any other questions about where to stay, what to do, or anything else about your vacation, please stop by planDisney! I hope this is helpful to you!

    See ya real soon,
    Jennifer
