Hi Maria! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In no time at all, you and your family will be enjoying your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! I hope you have plans to check out the all-new Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is amazing!

While the weather in Florida can be unpredictable at times, most of the thunderstorms in the summer are afternoon thunderstorms and don't stick around for very long. Each time my family has visited "The Most Magical Place on Earth" in the summer, we have enjoyed beautiful weather all morning and early afternoon, had a quick thunderstorm in late afternoon or early evening, then experienced gorgeous summer nights!

I have found that almost all attractions continue operating in the rain, with a few outdoor attractions temporarily pausing for really heavy rain or lightning in the area. Walt Disney World Resort is great about keeping attractions operational, but also putting the safety of their Guests first.
