Hello, Rhonda!
Welcome to planDisney. I always enjoy hearing from fellow Magic Key holders. Having a Magic Key pass is the perfect excuse to keep returning to the theme parks again and again!
Magic Key holders who want to visit Disneyland Resort on a blockout day need to purchase
standard tickets like other Guests, and those visits are still subject to reservation availability. Designated tickets for Magic Key holders are not currently offered. I am sorry that is not the news you were hoping for!
I suggest keeping an eye on the
Offers and Discounts page to see if any new summer ticket promotions appear. A California Resident Ticket Offer just ended, so I will keep my fingers crossed that another good option becomes available for you.
You could also consider upgrading your
Magic Key to a higher-level pass with fewer blockout dates. For example, the Believe Key is a great option for Guests who want to visit in the summer, as the only current summer
blockout day is the Fourth of July. It may help to compare the cost of a standard ticket with the price difference to upgrade your Magic Key. Keep in mind that Magic Key sales are sometimes paused, so if you plan to do this, I recommend doing it sooner rather than later.
Have you dined at
Magic Key terrace yet? This exclusive lounge is just for passholders and their Guests, and it is a fun place to bring friends. Reservations can be made up to sixty days in advance on the Disneyland website or app. If it is still available when you visit, I suggest sharing the Fonduta with a friend or two. This delicious appetizer is made with cream, mozzarella, fontina, and roasted garlic and is served with sourdough crostini, roasted potatoes, and chorizo. It is delicious!
Rhonda, I hope you can visit Disneyland this summer! Don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney again if you need additional information.
Magic Happens!
