Imagine MK expires 2.2.25 and do not see where to use renewal on App

Hello, Lucia! Welcome to planDisney! As a Magic Key holder who just renewed my pass last week, I am happy to help you with this!

First, your renewal window should be active since it opens 30 days before the expiration date of your current pass. Like me, you may have received an email with a link to start the renewal process. If you have notifications enabled on the Disneyland mobile app, you may have also received a message on your phone.

I've found it easiest to renew on the website. Log into your Disney account and visit the pass renewal page. All Magic Keys linked to your account should be listed. From here, select the pass level you would like to renew at and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

If you prefer to start the renewal process via the Disneyland mobile app, scroll down to the "Magic Key Portal" tile on the home screen and tap "Enter Portal." Scroll down and tap "Renew Magic Key Passes" under "Quick Links." This will take you to a webpage, where you'll again scroll down and tap the "Renew Now" button.

Lucia, I thought you'd like to know that, as you renew your Imagine Pass, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade to one of the other available Magic Keys if desired. If you want the option to visit on weekends, for example, you may consider renewing to the Enchant Key, which currently includes Sundays at certain times of the year. The Park Reservation Availability Calendar is helpful for comparing blockout dates.

I recently learned this tip: a benefit of renewing early is that you should be able to make reservations with both your current pass (up to the expiration date) and your new pass (starting with the renewal date). Make sure you select the right pass when making a reservation to see the correct availability.

Lucia, you are one step closer to unlocking another year of magic at the Disneyland Resort. And this is a fantastic year for it, too, since Disneyland is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Starting in May, there will be colorful decorations, specialty foods, collectible merchandise, and more to enjoy. Many new shows are coming as part of the celebration, including parades, fireworks, projections, and more. The Disney Parks Blog outlines some of the year's other exciting events.

My family and I love being Magic Key holders. As a mom of two young kids, I appreciate that the Magic Key allows us to visit frequently for shorter periods. Remember that there are also special extras and experiences just for Magic Key holders, which you can check out in the Magic Key portal on the app or on the website.

I hope this information is helpful as you look to renew your Magic Key pass. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're happy to help. Wishing you many magical memories at the Disneyland Resort.
