Hello. I have the “imagine key”. If I could only get a reservation to Disneyland, am I able to also visit California adventures the same day? What do I do?

Hi there, Christelle. Welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you’ve stopped by with your questions for us.

I’m delighted to see you’re a fellow Magic Key passholder! I’m happy to report that with a Magic Key pass, you’re able to start your day at the theme park you selected (according to your park reservation). Then, at 1 PM, you’re able to park hop to the other park. So in your situation, if your theme park reservation is for Disneyland Park, that means you’ll be able to start your day there. Then at 1 PM, you’ll be able to skip across The Esplanade and enjoy Disney California Adventure Park. If capacity allows, you’ll be able to park hop between the two parks as many times as you wish after 1 PM!

I hope this information is helpful, Christelle. If you have trip-planning questions for us, please feel free to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARs!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
