Hello, I'm working on saving up for a 4-day/3-night trip to Disney world for next December. In terms of Magic Kingdom, given the expansion from 2012/2013, would you suggest going to Fantasyland THEN Adventureland or vice versa?

    Hi Christian,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It has been nearly five years since the opening of New Fantasyland in Walt Disney World! I find it a magical and beautiful land. The details are amazing! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is fun and energizing, and I always love a calm ride through Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid.

While I think either way would be fine, I would recommend heading to New Fantasyland first and then Adventureland. I recommend this because New Fantasyland will likely get more crowded sooner in the day than Adventureland, so heading to New Fantasyland first thing in the morning is a good idea. I recommend a breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant - what an incredible and immersive location. It feels just like you are eating in Beast's Castle! Then you can spend the morning in New Fantasyland.

Next, head on over to Adventureland. There, you can experience classic attractions such as Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. If you would like to finish up with lunch, one of my new favorite restaurants is Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. The food there is a little exotic, and is served with humor by Jungle Skippers.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Christian! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
