Hi... I'm working on planning our trip... I have all the questions... Park reservation... Fast pass setup... Early Park admission... My party setup...

    Hi James,

Welcome to planDisney! It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Floridian plan a Walt Disney World vacation.

I know it can be daunting, but if you take it one step at a time, you will soon have all the pieces in place for a magical visit for you and your family.

As a first step, I would set up a My Disney Experience account and add the members of your family to your Friends & Family list. Then I would decide how many days you want to visit the parks and how many nights you want to stay. Make sure you check out any applicable Florida Resident special offers for tickets and vacation packages.

Once you make that decision, you will want to link your tickets and resort reservations to your My Disney Experience account.

Next, it's time to make your park reservations. Because of the enhanced health and safety measures, park entry is limited to one park per day, and you must have both a ticket and a reservation using the Disney Park Pass reservation system. (During the phased reopening, some features such as FastPass+ and Extra Magic Hours are temporarily suspended.)

Once you have your park reservations, you can begin filling in your other plans, such as making dining reservations, and thinking about what attractions are at the top of your family's must-do list.

I recommend that you download the My Disney Experience mobile app so that you have all your plans, plus a wealth of other information such as directions and wait times, at your fingertips. You also can use the app to mobile order from a wide range of counter service restaurants and to monitor table service availability.

Here's my biggest planning tip: Don't over-plan. A memorable Walt Disney World vacation is about time with your family and embracing the opportunity to relax, talk and experience unexpected moments throughout your day.

I hope that helps make your planning more manageable, James. Please let us know if we can help with more specifics or suggestions about any part of your vacation. Enjoy!
