Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Jess. Thanks for stopping by with your wonderful planning question. How exciting that your trip to the Disneyland Resort will soon be here. I love that you're getting all your plans in order and I am thrilled to help along the way.
The
Disney100 Celebration is in full swing and
World of Color - ONE made its debut earlier this year as part of the festivities. I had the opportunity to see this nighttime spectacular earlier in the year and just loved it - especially the Stars Wars and Marvel scenes. Jess, I'm sorry to hear that you aren't able to access the entertainment calendar for showtimes. We've heard that some international Guests have been experiencing some challenges with this part of the site in particular. Perhaps it's Loki causing the challenges behind the scenes - after all, he is the God of Mischief.
I took a peek at the calendar and do indeed see that World of Color - ONE is scheduled for two showtimes at 9:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on May 22nd. Keep in mind that all showtimes are subject to change and/or cancelation. The dessert party is a fantastic way to enjoy this nighttime spectacular - it's so nice having a reserved viewing area as well as a place to sit and eat your sweets. If you decide not to book the dessert party, you can join a
virtual queue to gain access to a reserved preferred viewing area. I did this the last time I watched the show and had a fantastic view. The queue can be accessed within the
Disneyland app - make sure you're scanned into the park and try to join right at 12:00 p.m.
Jess, I hope this has been helpful as you make your plans for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back and share any other questions you may have as you continue to plan.
Happy planning,
Michelle
