Hi Kai,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to give you some guidance as you plan your next visit to the park.
In the words of Mary Poppins, Disneyland is "Practically perfect in every way"—and that includes the fresh, smoke-free air throughout the Disneyland Resort!
Smoking is not permitted in the parks or at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort. It’s also not allowed in the Esplanade between the two parks or in the Downtown Disney District. While vape pens are not explicitly listed as
prohibited items, a Cast Member at security will have the final say on what can or cannot be brought into the parks. If a Cast Member informs you that vape pens are not allowed, you’ll have the option to either surrender the item to security or return it to your car or hotel for storage.
On your next trip, Kai, be sure to check out the Disneyland's
70th Anniversary celebrations! The celebration begins May 16 and continues through the summer of 2026, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the
delicious treats,
magical entertainment, and eye-catching
merchandise. Be sure to try the 70th Celebration Macaron at the
Jolly Holiday—it’s delicious!
I hope this information is helpful, Kai. If you have any other questions or need help with planning, feel free to write back to me or one of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to share more tips!
Catch you in the parks!
