I’m just wondering what type of vehicles are available for car rentals? Also will pricing depend on amount of miles traveled or is there a base price? Thank you

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for stopping by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Is your vacation coming up soon?

My family and I always drive down to Walt Disney World Resort. Most times, we don't visit the Theme Parks on our first day, since we like to shop on and off the Resort. Last year, we ended up flying instead, so we rented a car at Orlando International Airport. Most rental companies in the state of Florida do not charge extra to drop off your car at a different location within the state, and some even include unlimited mileage in their contracts. And here's the good news: at the Car Care Center you can pick up and/or drop off a car rental from Alamo Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental. They even provide you with complimentary shuttle service to your Resort Hotel. Additional rental companies have offices across from Disney Springs, which are a short ride with a taxi or Uber/Lyft to your Resort Hotel.

One last tip: remember that Resort Transportation is available for all Guests throughout the Resort. And if you want to travel in style, you may want to check out Minnie Van Service. Happy planning!
