I'm wondering if the rainforest café at Animal Kingdom is similar at this one at Downtown Disney. We love this one at DD but this summer we'll go back to WDW and we would like to try the restaurant at AK. Is it a good choice ? Thanks

Hello Danielle!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love the Rainforest Cafe, it is such a fun place to eat.  The Rainforest Cafe located at Downtown Disney and Disney's Animal Kingdom are pretty much the same.  The only difference is that the one located at Disney's Animal Kingdom offers breakfast and the Downtown Disney location does not.  At the Animal Kingdom location you will still check in at the elephant and be able to peruse the gift shop!  If interested in dining at either location, I strongly recommend dining reservation.  You can make reservations 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
