Hi there, Moms! I'm wondering if you can use the Quick Service Dining Plan towards character dining? I thought I read somewhere that you can use one if it goes towards breakfast or lunch at certain restaurants. Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristy!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my most favourite things to do with over 150 dining options available to select from. Being on a Disney Dining Plan package is the ultimate way to experience all the dining and allows great flexibility.

The current Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan is designed for use at listed Quick-Service Dining venues alone. You are most welcome to dine at any Disney Character Meal and pay out of pocket or, you may wish to reconsider and decide upon the Table-Service Disney Dining Plan, which will afford you the chance to dine at and redeem entitlements at a Character Meal restaurant.

Dining at Quick-Service locations does not require an Advanced Dining Reservation, but I highly recommend securing an Advanced Dining Reservation for any Character Meal to avoid any disappointment, as they are extremely popular.

Be sure to customize your vacation through My Disney Experience for your FastPass+ Planning and personalizing your MagicBands which will be waiting at your Disney Resort hotel upon your arrival.

    Best Disney Dishes and Wishes!
