Hi. I’m wondering if when the Paint the Night parade returns if it will be every single night or just on the weekends? Been waiting forever for it to return so I can’t wait and want to get the trip booked!!

Hello, hello Alyssa! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney - welcome! I'm so glad you've asked this great question, as there are many of us anxiously awaiting the return of this dazzling parade and are curious about the details!

Yes! Disney has confirmed that Paint the Night Parade will be making a grand return on May 16, 2025, and running all the way through summer of 2026 as part of the entertainment lineup for Disneyland's 70th Celebration! As you are, I am so excited for this fan-favorite to return!

As the Hours & Events Calendar only goes out six weeks, we don't know for sure yet "when can we do this again," however, we can make a pretty good guess that Paint the Night Parade will be occurring every night when it returns. Now, this is only my best guess, based on past parade schedules during the late spring and summer seasons, but I could be wrong!

My suggestion to you, Alyssa, is to make sure you're keeping an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar, especially as your visit approaches the six-weeks-out mark. I'm sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer, but I trust all our parade wishes will, indeed, come true.

If you're looking for a great place to view Paint the Night, my go-to spot is at "it's a small world." I usually find less crowds in this area and, depending on the parade's showtimes, I can usually catch the fireworks from the very same spot! The projections during the fireworks will be on the facade of "it's a small world." And, lucky for us, the fireworks show will be Wondrous Journeys! I've been waiting for this one's return, as well!

If any other planning questions come up, or you'd like to chat more about Disneyland's 70th Celebration, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm your girl.

From the bottom of my heart, Alyssa, I wish you the most magical visit.

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
