Hi there! I'm just wondering if there is any news about when the Candlelight Processional packages will be released and who the narrators will be? Planning a trip for right after Thanksgiving and I've heard wonderful things about this evening event!

    Hi Christen,

The Candlelight Processional is a beautiful, moving performance featuring an orchestra, a choir and a celebrity narrator who reads the Biblical Christmas story. It is usually performed three times a night from the night after Thanksgiving until Dec. 30.

Last year, the list of celebrity narrators was released in July, a few days after July 4. The booking for the Candlelight Processional dinner packages opened at about the same time. You don't have to book a lunch or dinner package in order to attend the processional. It is free and seats are available on a first-come basis. The dining package, however, allows you access to a reserved seating area.

I suggest that you keep an eye on the Disney Park Blog. That's where the news about narrators and dining package reservations will be announced first.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are arriving at Walt Disney World during an exciting part of the year, filled with lots of special holiday activities. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans.

    Enjoy!
