Well hello, Laura. Welcome to planDisney!
At this time, Guests looking to see if they qualify for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) must do so through a virtual chat with a Cast Member. Our friends in Ireland will need to wait until they've arrived in the United States and have access to the U.S. version of the website to do this. While
Guest Relations will not be able to determine if you are eligible, you can chat virtually with a Cast Member directly from your mobile device, even from within the parks!
It's so exciting that you're visiting during the
holiday season. I
just returned from the resort and we enjoyed all of the holiday offerings available to us and it was a blast! And not all of the offerings were available when we were there since it's early in the season! So by the time
you go, it will be a blast of holiday cheer. And speaking of holiday cheer, make it a point to watch
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks if they are playing when you're at
Magic Kingdom Park. This was one of my absolute favorite experiences of this past trip. Anything that involves
"When We're Together" from Olaf's Frozen Adventure always makes me feel like there's a little pixie dust in my eyes!
Laura, if you can make it to some of the resort hotels to see
their decorations and enjoy
their treats, I highly recommend it. I still have my gingerbread shingle to eat from the selection of treats at
Disney's Beach Club Resort celebrating their beautiful Gingerbread Carousel. The carousel is themed to
Mickey's Christmas Carol this year...and it's spectacular!
If you have any other questions,
don't hesitate to ask.
We're simply having a wonderful Christmastime,
Matt
