Hey-Howdy-Hey, Serena! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. I'm so glad you decided to be our guest, and it's my pleasure to help you with some planning details for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Generally, Guests are not asked to verify the ages of children traveling with them, but this can depend on individual Cast Members. I was questioned once at Walt Disney World about my younger daughter, who was under 3 at the time but was quite tall--and I wished I had proof of age with me! Since then, I have always traveled with photos of both kids' birth certificates on my phone. I've never been asked again but I do like to be prepared.
Kids under 3 are considered to be "Guests of Mickey Mouse" so do not require theme park admission. However, when you are making
dining reservations, be sure to include your little Mouseketeers in your party size to make sure there is room to accommodate everyone!
If your young ones (and their parents!) need a break to eat or have a diaper change, look no further than the excellent
Baby Care Centers that you can find in all four theme parks. These family-friendly spots have facilities to heat up a bottle, private spaces for breastfeeding, changing tables, and some essentials for purchase if you find you forgot something!
Serena, I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes. I am sure you are going to have a wonderful time at The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, please stop by anytime and our planDisney squad will be happy to help.
See Ya Real Soon!
