    I'm wondering how your finger print gets "associated" with your magic band. First time going to WDW with magic bands. Is there a machine at the Disney resort that does it?

    Hello, dear Susan! 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We missed you! 

    I love that you brought us a techie question this time! I was fascinated by this process the first time I experienced it. It's super exciting! 

    The process will happen at the entrance of the Theme Parks, where you will tap your MagicBand at a very cute tapstile that has a fingerprint reader associated with it. You will then use the same finger to enter all the Theme Parks in the future. It's swift, simple, and efficient. I dare say it's almost magical! 

    One of the coolest parts, for me, is seeing the totem light up green as it registers my fingerprint. If you're a Disney Vacation Club member, like me, it will light up in purple sometimes. It's super cute!
