I'm wondering if disney world in florida has any on site discounts for firefighters and elementary school teachers. I'm interested in staying inside the disney world complex

Hi Frances, and welcome to planDisney!

I am a fan of firefighters, and especially teachers (I, too, am a fellow educator)!. Thank you both for all you do.

While there are no specific discounts outlined for firefighters and teachers, Walt Disney World Resort does offer some current promotions like the 25% savings for Disney+ Subscribers (ends September 30, 2022) or being able to save up to $500 on a 5-Night stay at select Disney Resort Hotels (ends July 7, 2022). When you are ready to pinpoint your arrival dates, I am sure that you will be able to take advantage of any available promotions.

I was able to find that The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort currently has discounts available to firefighters and teachers. The only thing you have to figure out is which discount you will use. It is worth looking to see if it fits within your budget. To take advantage of these discounts, you will need to have your valid ID handy, which is required when you check-in. I hope this helps.

    Have a magical day!
