I’m wondering with COVID, if anything’s changed with Disney gift cards. Can I still use them to pay my balance at the end of our trip? And are they good for places like T Rex Cafe and build a Dino?

Greetings, Melissa and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney where fun is never EXTINCT!

Melissa, in the months leading up to any Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I love to stock up on Disney Gift Cards to pay for dining, merchandise, tickets and more. Having our budget set and prepaid with Disney Gift Cards is a great way to stay stress free on vacation and I'm happy to report that you will still be able to use this method of payment all around the Walt Disney World Resort including at T-REX. Whether you're drooling over the Prehistoric Pasta or chomping at the bit to Build-A-Dino® before you eat, your Disney Gift Card will be accepted.

Melissa, I hope this helps as you are planning ahead for your upcoming trip. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have. Wishing you a DINOmite vacation!

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
