Hello, Im wondering how bringing my own EVC would work with bus transportation? It is cheaper for me to rent off of Disney but am wondering if they would or even could take me on a bus to and from the parks. I am staying on Disney property.

    Hi, Katie!

You will be happy to know that the Disney bus transportation is accessible and can accommodate ECVs and wheelchairs. The friendly bus drivers will be happy to get you safely transferred on and off the buses.

If you need an accessible room, please make a note on your reservation as soon as possible. There are a limited number of accessible rooms, so make sure to secure a room that will suit your needs. If you wait until check-in for this request, the front desk cast members may not be able to find an available room. Please call (407)939-7675 to discuss your resort room and your specific needs.

In addition, many attractions in the theme parks can accommodate ECVs. Some will require that the guest transfer. READ the details for more information.

I hope you find the transportation system convenient during your stay in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
