Welcome back to planDisney Sara! I like to get out of the sun while on the beach from time to time, so I understand your question.
Personal beach umbrellas are prohibited from being brought onboard Disney Cruise Line. I suggest
calling or chatting with a Disney Cruise Line representative directly about the dimensions of your umbrella. The
Port Adventure that you wanted may become available because Guests change their minds. You can also stop by the Port Adventures Desk on your ship to ask there.
If you decide to stay on the ship while in port, there are still
onboard activities occurring. There may not be as many people in the pool, either! No matter what you decide, spending time with family will make for great memories. You can pre-purchase a
photography package to help capture those memories throughout your cruise. Photographers are available throughout the ship and the private island
Disney Castaway Cay. You will receive a pre-arrival discount if you book this with Disney Cruise Line at least three days before embarkation. To access more information about the photography packages, sign in to your account on the Disney Cruise Line website and select "Already Booked" and then "Photography". There are many options to choose from!
If you have any other questions, Sara, do not hesitate to sail back to
planDisney.
Adventure is out there!
