I'm wondering if there is a big difference between the hopper and base ticket. Also wondering if you get to pick which park you will visit each day? One more question ..where would be the best place to find tickets?

    Hi Naomi,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I understand that purchasing Theme Park Tickets is a big deal. I recommend considering your budget, length of stay and vacation plan when making this decision.

When you purchase a Base Ticket, you may visit one park per day for the number of days you purchase. If you add the Park Hopper Option, you may come and go to any of the four Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks as many times as you want for the number of days you purchase.

The great thing about the Park Hopper Option is there is just one fee to add it, no matter how many days you have on your tickets. I love having the flexibility of the Park Hopper when my budget allows. However, if you don't think you will want to change parks on any given day, you may be able to better use that money elsewhere.

I always recommend purchasing tickets directly from the Walt Disney World website. There are other vendors selling tickets, but for such an important piece of my experience, I prefer to go straight to the source.

Let me know if you have any other questions as you plan, Naomi. Wishing you a magical vacation!
